About Donating to MTU Crew

Every donation big or small is always welcomed and will help the club buy new boats, oars, slings, and covers. View our wishlist to see what the crew needs most.

Donating helps the crew also pay for membership dues, travel expenses, and boat maintenance expenses

How to donate

Method 1: Rowing Website Payment Portal - easiest method

1. Click the yellow ‘Donate Here!’ Button below. Your browser should take you to a payment portal on the Stripe website.

2. Enter the amount you wish to donate

3. Enter your email, name, and credit card information

4. Click ‘Donate’

Method 2: Michigan Tech Donation site (Tax-Deductible)

1. Click the yellow ‘MTU’s Donation Webpage' Button below. Your browser should take you to a payment portal on MTU’s website.

2. Select your preferred gift type

3. Under “Select Gift Designation(s)”, select “Other”

4. Under “Special Instructions”, type “Student Organization - Rowing Club” (see below)

5. Fill out your information and payment method in the next steps and click ‘Donate’!

6. Send us an email at mturowingclub@gmail.com and let us know that you’ve donated to us. Include the date of donation, amount, and any specific cause you would like the donation to go towards.

Method 3: send a Physical check to our mailbox (Tax-Deductible)

1. Make check payable to “Rowing Club at Michigan Tech”

2. Address the envelope:

   Rowing Club at Michigan Tech

   106 Memorial Union Building

   1400 Townsend Drive Houghton, MI 49931 USA 

3. Please send us an email at mturowingclub@gmail.com and let us know that you’ve donated to us. Include the date of donation, amount, and any specific cause you would like the donation to go towards.

Method 4: Venmo our treasurer!

1. On the Venmo App, search @evcronk. The profile photo should be our treasurer, Evan, in dress clothes.

2. Tap ‘Pay or Request’

3. Type in the amount you wish to donate

4. In the “What’s it for” entry, type your name, “MTU Rowing”, and the fundraiser you are donating for.

5. Tap ‘Pay’
