Michigan Tech competed at Head of the Miss Regatta in Minneapolis. Every race at this regatta was blessed with ‘conditions no money can buy’ - water smooth as glass, a current running in the direction of the race, and a clear sky. Michigan Tech’s main focus for this regatta was to exemplify efficiency both in and out of the water, which consisted of sustaining technique throughout races and getting on/off the docks in a very quick and clean manner.

Notable performances:

MTU’s Women’s Novice 4+ - Fiona Olson, Emily Taylor, Alexis Childs, Michalena Hamrick, and Anni Betz (cox) - placed 2nd (21:56.88) in the Women’s Novice (Open) 4+ event against Minneapolis Rowing Club (1st place) and Twin Cities Youth Rowing (3rd place).
